Donated food
The Dining Hall has started receiving a donation of food on every other Wednesday afternoon. It consists mainly of bakery items and produce but we never know what will come. It has become necessary to set up some procedures for handling this donation so this is what will occur:
The donation will be offloaded at the driveway and taken into the Dining Hall.
The Kitchen staff will organize it and take what the Kitchen needs.
All others will wait outside of the Dining Hall until the Kitchen staff is done.
Then “shoppers” will be welcomed in to shop. Please bring your own bags and for those who are first remember there are others who would like free food too. Let’s all share.
Shopping will normally begin around 2:00pm.
Keep watch for ILC messages as this will not be a weekly occurrence. Anyone associated with the center is welcome to participate.
