Dallas Area Public Transit

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has added the ILC to its on-demand service. We are in the Mountain Creek Zone of GoLink DART On-Demand, which runs 5 AM to midnight, 7 days a week.

Instructions are at https://dart.org/guide/transit-and-use/golink

In addition to the big city of Dallas, the International Linguistics Center is surrounded by small towns and nature preserves. Two noteworthy towns are Duncanville and Cedar Hill. Both places offer unique attractions and give you the feel of being away from the big cities. If the big city is still your thing, find out what’s available here on visitdallas.com.

Main-Station

Located on Main Street Duncanville, here you will find restaurants, coffee shops, fitness, art, and so much more. There are many community events held here.

Not too far from this location are parks, churches, municipal buildings and other things to do in the small town of Duncanville.

Cedar Hill Historic Preservation

The tiny settlement of Cedar Hill was established in 1846. Families set their roots around a special plot of land donated by Abraham Hart, one of the first settlers in the area and recipient of land through the 1841 Peter's Colony land grant.
